Hoosiers Put Away Penn State Late 83-78

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—The Indiana Hoosier men’s basketball team only led for 10 minutes, yet they were able to rally and beat the Penn State Nittany Lions Wednesday night 83-78 at Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers (17-11, 8-9 in the Big Ten) have won three of their last four games.
The game had 10 ties and seven lead changes.
The Hoosiers were propelled by shooting 67% from three-point range. It is the first time Indiana has shot better than 60% from three-point range since January 22, 2023 vs Michigan State.
Oumar Ballo led Indiana in scoring with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Indiana did not have Malik Reneau. He missed the game with an illness.
The other double figure scores for Indiana were Trey Galloway (16 points and 9 assists), Myles Rice (13), Mackenzie Mgbako (13 points), and Luke Goode (10)
Penn State (15-14, 5-13 in the Big Ten) was led by Ace Baldwin Jr with 22 points.
