Indiana Fever Sign 6X All-Star DeWanna Bonner To One-Year-Deal
The Indiana Fever have made another bold offseason move, signing six-time WNBA All-Star and two-time champion DeWanna Bonner to a one-year deal.
This addition brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to a young and ambitious roster.
Bonner, a 15-year WNBA veteran, has been a standout throughout her career.
She holds career averages of 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, making her one of the most versatile players in the league.
Her best season came in 2012 with the Phoenix Mercury, where she averaged a career-high 20.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Most recently, Bonner showcased her consistency with the Connecticut Sun, averaging 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists in the 2024 season, earning another All-Star nod.
Known for her defensive prowess and ability to adapt in multiple roles, the 6’4″ wing has two WNBA championships under her belt, winning with the Mercury in 2009 and 2014.
The Fever, who are assembling a competitive team around young stars Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, will benefit greatly from Bonner’s leadership and proven track record in high-pressure situations.
